Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Practical strategies for changing unhelpful patterns
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a practical, structured approach that explores the relationship between our thoughts, emotions and behaviours. It helps us recognise patterns of thinking and responding that may be contributing to distress, and develop more helpful ways of approaching difficult situations.
CBT can be particularly useful when you are looking for practical strategies and tools to manage specific difficulties, such as anxiety, stress, low mood, overthinking or unhelpful behavioural patterns.
In my work, I tend to draw on CBT when practical strategies are helpful, while also exploring the deeper emotional, relational and underlying patterns that may be contributing to what you're experiencing.
